“I saw you in Heaven and heard of your glory. You saved our world from the fallen angels. I saw messiah standing, Standing before me with no words. Nothing but “hope”. When we lost dread, a Demon was laughing. But now you are showing us wonder. Giving your love. With awe, down on my knees again. I’ve got to know you’re the one. The only one reveals the world…”

god how many times do i have to say this

  • mcu!jane is not without personality
  • mcu!jane is not without personality
  • mcu!jane is not without personality

mcu!jane is not pointless or bland because she

  • isn’t sif
  • doesn’t fight
  • is scared when extraterrestrial shit goes down

mcu!jane is not ‘unfeminist’ because she

  • ‘falls in love’ with thor
  • doesn’t fight
  • isn’t sif
  • is scared when extraterrestrial shit goes down

and if you think carefully, it makes perfect sense that

  • she would fall in love with thor. because she made this face

when he talked about the nine realms, when he mapped out the universe as seen from the gods’ heights with a bic pen in her journal, when he believed in her science and called it magic when no one else did. in this moment he illuminated a universe for a woman whose never loved anything the same way she loved space. the better question would be, why wouldn’t she fall in love with thor?
  • that she would carry on looking for him. her world didn’t start revolving around a guy she’d met after three days - her world was always always always about the bigger worlds out there. she hasn’t given up on her science; she’s perfected it, she’s specified it. she’s conflated the universe with thor, she didn’t fall in enough with a dorky guy that she ran over with her car, she fell in love with a man that she couldn’t understand fully; a man who represents for her the vastness of space, the unknowable breadth of deep space. when she sends out a signal across the universe that reaches asgard, she isn’t just looking for thor. she’s in love with what thor represents as much as she is in love with him.
